The story » Horses as mirrors
Horses are gregarious animals of prey, strongly connected with one another and their surroundings: one breathing whole. They are extremely sensitive to everything that surrounds them: moods, traumas, fears, feelings, imbalances, incongruences. They live in the here and now and respond directly and straightforwardly.

Horses have connected with man for tens of thousands of years and have been willing to carry man into the future. Through this connection, the horse lives on in our mind as an archetype, a dream image, a desire, a nightmare.

This is why horses, through connectedness and compassion, have the keen ability to mirror us and confront us with ourselves. In this way, they promote self-knowledge, behavioural change, integration, healing, and restitution. They lead us to a balanced state where the equilibrium between group and individual, yin and yang, earthly groundedness and spiritual passion is maintained.
